I absolutely loved my stay, as it was right in the center of everything, making it super easy to explore attractions like St Martin's Church just a couple of minutes away and enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Windermere within a short walk. the room was cozy and clean, providing all the comforts I needed for a delightful weekend getaway.

Perfect getaway in the heart of Bowness!

Me and my fiancée spent 2 nights here, and the location couldn't be better! The room was modern with some lovely historic touches. The copper bath was a dream, especially with a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us! One thing, the toilet gets super cold since there’s no heat, but service was great overall.

The damp smell in the room was overwhelming, but the high cleanliness standards impressed me.

The Superior King Suite featured stylish interiors and offered a spacious layout, making it comfortable for a couple. Additional touches like fresh orange juice enhanced the experience.

Parking became an adventure, as the fees added up quickly at £21 for limited hours, and the car park felt tight—only snagged the last space. A noise from the local bar crept in during the night, making sleep a bit less restful. The copper bath looked good but needed a little more care, with some scum showing. perhaps that's just the trade-off for style. Lastly, check-in at 3 PM felt a bit late, and a 10 AM check-out came around far too quickly. 11 AM would’ve lent a leisurely edge to the stay.

Keep in mind to request a quieter room if you're sensitive to noise!

I enjoyed my stay at The White House, where the small double room with terrace offered comfort and modern touches. The lovely outdoor area delighted my wife and me, while minor noise issues from upstairs guests slightly disrupted the peace. a pleasant experience worth revisiting.

A comfy stay in a Deluxe Junior Suite with a beautiful bathroom featuring a walk-in shower and complimentary toiletries. The room had a cozy twin bed setup and included a hairdryer, fridge, and electric kettle. Plus, the location is super close to the lake and plenty of eateries. Enjoyed a nice touch of complimentary Prosecco on arrival!

Check-in was super smooth with the code system, making everything easy. The room was cozy and well-prepared with heating on and nice little touches like water in the fridge. The central location made it convenient for exploring nearby attractions. the noise from the floor above was quite annoying, especially during the night. I could hear every little movement, which may be bothersome for light sleepers. Parking wasn’t available on-site, and the nearby car park can get busy, especially during peak times. The checkout time felt a bit rushed at 10 am, especially for those on a leisure trip. An 11 am checkout would be much better.

Cozy room with a nice terrace. Great central location, everything is within walking distance. Shower design caused water to flood the bathroom. Enjoyed the nearby golf course. Staff communication easily sorted issues.

We recently enjoyed a night in the Deluxe Junior Suite and couldn't have been happier with the experience. The room's decor was charming and the bed incredibly comfortable, providing a restful night. the convenience of self-check-in made everything so easy. a bit more information on check-out procedures would have been nice.

The white house is ideally situated. it's just a short stroll from everything in the town. our small double room with terrace was cozy and had all the essentials. the host sent us fantastic recommendations, making our impromptu trip super enjoyable!

I loved the cozy and spacious Deluxe Junior Suite! Super comfy bed and amazing shower. The only issue was muddy boots on the carpet, a boot tray would be great. Would definitely return! 😊
